Meet Our Team
Nina — Office Administrator
Nina is the friendly face behind the office’s front desk! Nina is dedicated to helping patients through every step of their dental visit – from making patients feel comfortable, scheduling their appointments, to processing their insurance claims. She is our insurance and billing expert and is always ready to help with patients’ questions or concerns. Nina has worked in the dental field since 2017 and joined Dr. Shiba’s office in 2023. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and dogs, and watching sports.
Cindy — Registered Dental Assistant
Cindy is our Registered Dental Assistant who comes with eight years of previous dental experience. Cindy joined our office in 2024 and brings a fun, positive energy to our team. She has a deep focus in patient care and ensures that everyone feels comfortable in the dental chair. Outside of work, Cindy enjoys staying active with weight lifting, yoga, and Peloton. Cindy is an avid foodie and loves finding new restaurants in the Bay Area. She is a proud cat mom to Chai, whom she adopted during the pandemic. On the weekends, Cindy and her husband are always busy with home improvement projects.
Summer — Registered Dental Hygienist
Summer was born and raised in Southern California and graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Science. She later on received a second Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from West Coast University, finishing top of her class and was named Valedictorian. Summer is laser certified and prioritizes educating her patients on how to maintain good oral hygiene. Summer has been an RDH with our team since September 2014! Outside of work, Summer enjoys reading, ballet, photography and spending time with her friends and family.
Carolina — Registered Dental Hygienist
Carolina earned her Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Santa Rosa Junior College and has a strong passion for helping others feel confident in their smiles. In addition to dental hygiene, Carolina is a certified eyelash technician which allows her to express her creativity and attention to detail. She loves connecting with people while doing what she loves! Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her nephew and staying active at the gym.
